Honor Yoga’s exceptional and accessible curriculum is divided into 150 hours of live, virtual-contact, as well as online self-paced learning of short videos, which support what you learn on the weekends and to which you have for a lifetime! We want you to start learning right away, so access to the self-paced online courses is granted as soon as your deposit is paid.

Those who want to become a teacher will do so having completed one of the world’s most comprehensive teacher training courses. And those who do not intend to teach will graduate the training with an expanded sense of self-awareness, having learned and experienced the many ways that yoga can impact one’s life.
This foundational training program includes:
Training is modularized and trainees can take up to 2 years to complete it. Missed modules can be made up at other locations.

Weekend 1 – History of Yoga + What is Yoga & Practice
Weekend 2 – Sun Salutations + Effective Use of Voice
Weekend 3 – Externally Rotated Poses + Sutra Study
Weekend 4 – Neutral Standing + Twists + How to Progress/Regress
Weekend 5 – Arm Balances + Intro to Meditation 1
Weekend 6 – Inversions + Sutra Study + Intro to Meditation 2
Weekend 7 – Back bends + Sutra Study
Weekend 8 – Seated/Supine Poses + Intro to Energetic Anatomy + Ayurveda
Weekend 9 – How to Teach Beginners + Restorative Yoga + Pranayama (breath work)
Weekend 10 – Intro to Prenatal + Creating a Safe Space in the classroom
Weekend 11 – Teaching Digitally + Business of Yoga + Intro to Bhagavad Gita
Weekend 12 – Presentations + Teaching Practicums
Weekend 13 – Presentations + Teaching Practicums + Closing Ceremony
